Working Principle:
The Q-switched Nd:YAG laser takes selective photothermolysis theory to treat pigment skin diseases. The target base is melanin, because of its high peak power, and the pulse width is nanosecond level, the thermal relaxation time for melanin cells and that from keratin formation is very short, so it can make the melanin particles instantaneous blasting and break them into very small fragments. Ultimately gets eliminated by the lymphatic system. Meanwhile, it does not influence the surrounding normal tissues.
