Neutralizing antibody is a type of antibody that protects the host cell from infection by neutralizing the virus activity. The Kit can be used to qualitatively detect the neutralizing antibodies in the serum/plasma, which provides a reference for evaluating the immune protection
Assay Principle
Many studies have proved that the novel v i r u s enters target cells by using its RBD to bind with the cell surface receptor ACE2. The neutralizing antibody can bind with RBD of virus and prevent it from binding with ACE2, thus playing a protective role.
